Achievements and Dedications

2006 - Created the "Dr. Tony Dutton Student Scholarship" in honor of Dr. Tony Dutton for his leadership in training new officials and educating Angelo State University students.
2010-2013 - Miller Walker served as TASO Football District 2 Director.
2013 - Dedicated a paver placed at San Angelo Stadium to the founders of the chapter (Red Aiken, Bill Flint, Dub Izzard, Jack Lieber, CB Selden, and Buddy White) honoring their "Service, Dedication, Leadership, and Loyalty."
2016 - Dedicated a paver placed at San Angelo Stadium to Dr. Tony Dutton for "Over 50 years of leadership in education, training, and officiating."
2020 - Dedicated a paver placed at San Angelo Stadium to Coy Dale Gober in memory of his chapter leadership.
2022 - Dr. Tony Dutton received the THSCA Region 2 nomination for the "Curly Hays Officials Award," which is given annually to a retired game official who has contributed twenty or more years of service to officiating, athletics, and athletes in the state of Texas. Dr. Tony Dutton has been a member of the SAFOA for 59 years and has served as a game official, game timer, chapter rules interpreter, and a TASO state clinician.
2024-2025 - Dr. Bradley Petty served as TASO Football District 3 Director.
2024 - Miller Walker received the Bud Alexander Honorary Life Member Award for over 40 years of dedication to TASO and the San Angelo Football Officials' Association.
